This July, I wanted to gift my mother an antique furniture set for her dining room (dining set and china cabinet). As you can see from the pictures, this glass furniture was exquisite and glossy, and required tremendous care when moving. I was extremely worried about the possibility of damage and scratches, as I had plenty of experience with my Ikea furniture getting scratched or cracked during moves (it's part of the package). But this was antique furniture, and I couldn't afford any risks. It's unbelievable how professionally 1/2 Price handled my furniture and treated it as their own.

What if something is damaged?
We take exceptional care of every item. In the rare event of damage, claims are handled per your moving agreement and valuation coverage. We recommend reporting any issues within one week of your move.
Will movers disassemble and reassemble my furniture?
Yes. Basic furniture disassembly and reassembly are included in every move at no extra cost.
What time will my movers arrive?
Your arrival window is confirmed the day before your move. We work around building restrictions, elevator reservations, and your special requests whenever possible.
Can I reschedule if my plans change?
Customers are permitted one complimentary date change or one transfer to the Open Date File, subject to availability and with at least 72 hours’ notice. Any additional scheduling changes are subject to management approval, availability, current pricing, and may require an additional reservation deposit.
Can I add items on moving day?
Yes. Extra items can be added the day of your move and priced accordingly. Just let the crew leader know when they arrive.
Who do I contact if there is a problem after the move?
